Seasonal Office Assistant - Office of Student Affairs and Campus Wellness
The Office of Student Affairs and
Campus Wellness at Ferrum College is seeking a Seasonal Office Assistant to provide administrative and office support to the Dean of Student Affairs and Campus Wellness. The Office
Assistant maintains a variety of
records and documentation pertaining to student affairs initiatives, judicial matters, and Care Assessment Team records. Reporting to the Dean of
Student Affairs and Campus Wellness, the Office Assistant will also assist in the coordination and facilitation of campus wellness initiatives.
This seasonal, 9-month position will
occasionally require some evening and weekend hours, including participation in campus wellness events and
The ideal candidate will possess a high school degree and three years of
administrative support experience, have strong organizational skills, good working familiarity with Microsoft
Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. The candidate must communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, and will be expected to provide pertinent
information relating to student
records, and take minutes for all Care Assessment Team meetings
